Baby concert with Les Variations Musicales

Les Variations Musicales is a project founded in 2022 in Neuchâtel by Margo Lathuraz, who imagined an ensemble that could respond to a variety of requests as well as initiating its own concerts, with pleasure and sharing as the common thread. There’s no fixed ensemble, just reunions based on projects and desires, bringing together musicians from all walks of life.

The Baby Concerts, designed for toddlers and their parents, last 30 minutes. Bring your own mat or yoga mat: comfort is the key word! You’ll be able to change your baby, feed him or her, hold him or her in your arms and walk around if you feel the need.

The duo chamber music programme will be drawn from the classical repertoire, with the possibility of surprises (jazz, film music, seasonal music, etc.).

Violin: Margo Lathuraz, a graduate of the Geneva and Lausanne Hautes Ecoles de Musique, currently teaches at the Conservatoire des Régions and works with various orchestras across Europe.

Cello: Simon Cauchefer, a graduate of the Haute École de Musique de Genève and currently a teacher at the music school in Le Landeron and at the Conservatoire des Régions, pays particular attention to chamber music.
