13.03.2025For this concert in support of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon, the cellist will perform with three young laureates of his foundation: Italian pianist Martina Consonni and French musicians Sarah Jégou-Sageman (violin) and Anna Sypniewski (viola).
In 2022, internationally renowned cellist Gautier Capuçon launched an ambitious philanthropic project by creating the foundation that bears his name. Its mission is to support young classical musicians worldwide as they take their first steps in their careers. The Fondation Gautier Capuçon already has 26 laureates and has performed in nearly 250 concerts across the globe.
Martina Consonni has won over 55 first prizes in international competitions and is currently studying at the Kronberg Academy in Germany. Sarah Jégou-Sageman, trained at the CRR, is pursuing an artist diploma at the CNSM in Paris and also at the Kronberg Academy. Anna Sypniewski joined the CNSM de Paris in 2016 and completed an Artist Diploma at the Colburn School in Los Angeles.
Program: Robert Schumann’s Fantasiestücke and Quartet Op. 47, followed by Johannes Brahms’ Quartet No. 1 Op. 25.
