
TIBETAN YOGA – LU JONG
19.03.2025Priska Antille will lead a Lu Jong yoga class in the exhibition rooms of Fondation Opale.
Lu Jong movements are derived from ancient Tibetan teachings.”Lu” means body, and “Jong” means transformation. Lu Jong works simultaneously with body, mind, and energy. By practicing this form of yoga, posture, movement, and breath are combined, and together with present-moment awareness, help body and mind. To be fully harmonized. The positions and movements apply pressure to specific points, releasing blockages. Lu Jong is a moving meditation.
Priska Antille, dance and movement art therapist, has been studying various physical practices from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, including Lu Jong, for many years with Tulku Lobsang and Loten Dahortsang. She regularly continues her training in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and soon in Bhutan.
Lu Jong can be practiced by people of all ages and physical abilities.
